Meaningful work opportunities
Providing meaningful work for long term unemployed people, living with an intellectual disability or mental health issue can transform lives. This is what the Nundah Community Enterprises Cooperative does.
It runs two successful businesses creating over 6,000 hours of paid work annually for 25 people. The Sisters of Charity Foundation provided funding for equipment needed in the Espresso Train Café and the Small Parks Crew Program. Due to the purchase of gardening equipment the Small Parks Crew are able to operate, creating work for two people.
